On behalf of the academic staff and students, welcome to Istanbul University Faculty of Law.

I’m hoping that you’re reading this welcome as a first step toward learning more about Istanbul Law School.

The Law School is one of the leading institutions in Turkey. It plays crucial role in maintaining peaceful social life. As the oldest continuously operating public law school in Turkey, our entire focus is preparing our students to get legal knowledge. We educate and enable our students to develop their capabilities and skills as legal professionals.

At the heart of any great law school, without a doubt, there are great faculty members. Istanbul University Faculty of Law has over 170 full-time dedicated and impressive academic staff. Not only the academic staff, but also our distinguished students play an active and valued role in the operation of Istanbul University Faculty of Law, through many educational and social organizations.

Istanbul University Faculty of Law is committed to provide the best possible resources for legal research. A rich array of academic resources found in the Istanbul University Faculty of Law Library is crucial for the work of students, the academic staff, as well as the rest of the legal community.
